CBS nozzles allow the filling of CBS straws with MAPI and PACE automated or semi-automated systems.
The transparent suction nozzle is positioned on the suction side of the PACE or MAPI analyzers.
The filling nozzle (standard transparent or long blue) is equipped with a sealing gasket whose positioning is factory-set so that the portion entering the PACE or MAPI analyzer is precisely 18 mm.
The nozzle must be carefully placed on the nozzle holder to avoid deforming the rigid tube, whose axis must be perfectly aligned with that of the PACE or MAPI analyzer.
To maintain efficient siphoning and ensure proper drop recall, the sample to be dispensed must be placed in the sample tube holder in volume fractions of 6 mL or less.
